Wear this majestic elephant necklace as a symbol of strength and power! Elephants are also a representation of wisdom and good luck!

With this step by step tutorial you will learn how to make a beautiful necklace. You can also use the same method to create bracelets, anklets or any other decorative accessory of your choice.

This kit uses amethyst graduated faceted rondelles, dyed silver freshwater cultured potato pearls and a sterling silver elephant pendant.

Step one

Take a 60cm length of beading thread. Thread on a crimp bead and the lobster claw clasp, pass the beading thread back through the crimp bead. Pull to form a small loop and crimp. trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover.

Step two

Starting with a pearl, thread on the pearls and amethysts alternating as you go. keep threading until half the amethyst strand is done. (27 on our strand)

Step 3

Thread on 2 Pearls, the Elephant and 2 pearls.

Step four

Continue threading the amethysts and pearls until all the amethysts are threaded finishing with a pearl.

Step five

Thread on a crimp bead and a jump ring, pass the beading thread back through the crimp bead. Pull to form a small loop and crimp. Trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover.
