1

Step One

Cut 5 x 20cm lengths of 0.4mm wire and add a drop to the centre of each length

2

Step Two

Take a 7mm jump ring and pass both ends of the wire through the centre

3

Step Three

Holding the drop in place wrap each length of the wire around the jump ring a couple of times. Repeat with all 4 drops leaving all of the long ends intact for later use.

4

Step Four

Add an 8mm round bead to one of the lengths and let it drop down to cover the jump ring, secure the end by wrapping it around the jump ring a couple of times.

5

Step Five

Leave 2 lengths of wire opposite each other for later use to attach to the ring shank. Use the remaining lengths of wire to weave in and out of the stones creating a basket weave effect and securing the stones.

6

Step Six

When the weaving is complete trim the ends and tuck them in using flat nose pliers

7

Step Seven

Take a 25cm length of 1.00mm wire and place the centre on a ring mandrel. Without crossing the wires wrap each end all around the mandrel and trim each end to approx 1cm

8

Step Eight

Using round nose pliers make a loop in opposite directions on each of the 1cm ends

9

Step Nine

Using the long lengths of 0.4mm wire saved from earlier hold the flower in place over the loops on the ring shank and secure it by wrapping each wire around the loops a few times. Trim the ends and tuck them in using flat nose pliers
