A lot of money for what it is
Had the 5, very chuffed I have the 3. Easy to use. Great results :0)
Another tool to add another dimension to my skill base
Never used a 3 pin knitting spool, but looks very similar to something I used to do as a little girl with a wooden cotton bobbin with four nails on top. Used to love
making garters for grannie with it, so I am sure it will bring back many goods
memories for me. Many Thanks.
The reason for the rating is due to the poor instructions that came with the spool, although the 5 pin spool had none at all!!, a tiny little piece of paper, prob 3" x 2". Obviously that is how it comes from the supplier but disappointing all the same.
Thank you for your feedback.
We're sorry that we have not been able to call you today regarding this.
The instructions for the 3 pin spool can be used against the 5 pin spool too, as it is the same technique.
However, we have printed out and posted some different instructions for you. Hopefully these will be of more use.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
looking forward to experimenting with it as I have already got a 5 oin one and use regularly
I really loves the knitting spool as I was still at school my grandmother and my mother uses to make spool out of thread spool when thread are finish then they uses 4 small nails and hammer them on the spools. That was in the mid 50s that I was only 8 years old at the time. My grandparents taught me everything. Knitting Spool is a brilliant items for knitting and other things but didn't use wire a long time ago. Today of all days I will do the wire knitting.
