Pearl Drills are specially designed to prevent the chipping of the nacre when drilling pearls, and can be used to enlarge pre-drilled holes as well as to half or full drill pearls. Pearls can be held in a Pearl Vice while drilling so that there is no risk of slipping, or in fingers wrapped with protective tape. Size = 1.0mm (relates to width of head) Made from steel, they have a smooth flat head on top o which is a small spike (acts as a guide for the rest o the drill to follow). Designed to leave a soft edged hole. Drill mounted on a 3/32 shank.
