The Japanese term for "woodgrained metal", Mokume Gane (pronounced moe-koo-may-gahn-ay) in polymer clay terms is a method of stacking or layering polymer clay. Join Guest Designer Fiona Potter for a fabulous fun packed creative resin workshop. Using bangle or bracelet moulds and bezels, you will learn the techniques needed to create a suit of jewellery that includes, neckline piece, bracelet or bangle and earrings that are filled with real flowers.
Resin Mixed MediaFiona Potter
Fiona will guide you through designing a piece of jewellery that will incorporate 2 or 3 different sized bezels which will be made from scratch using a variety of metal work techniques. Once the bezels are made, you will use paint and a variety of inclusions to fill the bezels. Whilst the bezels are curing you will create, patina and assemble component parts using bare copper wire and gemstones.

Come and join us at the JewelleryMaker Studios for our Sunday Show Experience.
Every Sunday we will be inviting a group of 5 lucky guests to join us live in the studios free of charge and take part in their very own ‘Challenge’! For those of you who remember our original ‘Sunday Sofa’ the format is slightly similar but with a twist …
The Experience will take place in our Brand New Workshop Room adjacent to the live JewelleryMaker studio so you will be right in the heart of the action, as well as taking part yourself. Each individual will be given a selection of items from the live show and asked to create something spectacular. You will also be invited to bring in any of your own projects that you may be having difficulty with; after all you will be joined by one of our expert Guest Designers to help you along the way.
As the show will be live, this is not an experience for the camera shy as we will be visiting you during the show to see how you are getting on. We also expect that you are an active jewellery maker already and have at least a basic knowledge of making. All guests will also need to have an active JewelleryMaker account.
As demand is extremely high for places we advise that booking is on a first come first serve basis and we cannot guarantee places until confirmation has been sent.

Join Guest Designer Laura Binding in this exciting new Workshop. The morning will begin with step by step stages for a focal woven pendant. The afternoon will progress by attempting your own freeform pendant and with Laura’s guidance all the way! Leaving the Workshop with at least one woven pendant.
This Workshop involves having the knowledge of weaves and be comfortable and confident with the weaves as we will not be learning the weaves from scratch.
