The late 1990s, early 2000s saw a diverse range of jewellery trends, with choker necklaces reaching peak popularity and floral motifs making a comeback. Male jewellery gained prominence, from necklaces to engagement rings, partly inspired by influencers like David Beckham. Body jewellery emerged, while alternative rock and pop music shaped the era’s aesthetics, influencing both subdued silver pieces and vibrant golds, colourful designs. Beads were a favourite for bracelets, and dynamic colour-changing stones made from glass or quartz became popular.
