How to create a BoHo style Moonstone Pendant

You Will Need:

Step One

Cut the ball off the end of a Headpin, insert the pin into a Peardrop and bend both ends up towards each other until they cross over.

Step Two

Using Round Nose Pliers bend each wire down into the centre making two small loops that sit behind each other and hook a Jumpring through the middle of both loops. Repeat this for all five of your Peardrops.

Step Three

Cut 1 x 17 link length of chain, 2 x 13 link lengths of chain and 2 x 7 link lengths of chain. Attach a Peardrop to the end of each piece of chain with the largest pendant on the longest length of chain.

Step Four

Cut 2 x 8 link lengths of chain and 1 x 6 inch piece of beading thread. Connect one chain to the thread with a crimp bead and trim off any excess thread.

Step Five

Thread on 3 x 4mm beads, 1 x 8mm bead, and then thread on your chain and pendant sections starting with one of the shortest ones. Add an 8mm bead between chain sections and continue until you have a symmetrical 'V' shaped design. Use another crimp bead to connect the other 8 link chain to the end

Step Six

To finish the piece use a Jumpring to join both ends of your design to both ends of the remainder of your 1m chain, thus creating a long line necklace.
