How to create a Tanzanite Necklace

You Will Need:

Step One

Create the dangles by threading each of the Pearl drops onto its own headpin and making a wrapped loop.

Step Two

Cut approx 10" of beading thread and secure it to the end link of one of the chains with a crimp bead, then cover with a crimp cover.

Step Three

Thread on a Pearl, two Moonstones, a Tanzanite and two more Moonstones, then repeat it and add one more Pearl plus another Tanzanite

Step Four

Thread on a spacer bead, a moonstone, a Tanzanite, two Moonstones, a Tanzanite, a wrapped loop Pearl Drop, a Tanzanite, two Moonstones, a Tanzanite, a moonstone and then pass the thread back through the spacer to form a loop with the dangle at the bottom.

Step Five

Thread on a Tanzanite, a Pearl and another Tanzanite before repeating step four, only this time after adding the spacer add two Moonstones, and then again when you go to make a loop add an extra moonstone at the end before threading back through the spacer bead in order to create a slightly bigger loop.

Step Six

Thread on a Tanzanite, a Pearl, and another Tanzanite then make the next loop in the same manner but adding three Moonstones between each Tanzanite to make an even bigger loop.

Step Seven

Using the loop in step six as the centre point, continue threading the rest of the necklace in a mirror image of the first half.

Step Eight

Using Jumprings add a clasp to the end of the chain to complete the necklace.
