Create a winter wedding ball cuff

Learn how to make a winter ball cuff.

Follow this week’s Hints & Tips tutorial for a gorgeous Winter Wedding Ball Cuff! Cuff Bangles have been one of the hottest trends throughout Spring Summer ‘17 and are definitely making a gracious stay for Autumn. With celebrities from Rihanna to Taylor Swift all wearing them, make your own version and walk into wedding season in style! Made using a crisp white lace trim and turkey feather, the combination creates an impactful design that will elevate a simplistic outfit. A stunning variety of seed beads and Swarovskis have been embroidered onto the lace to add ultra-glam detailing, finishing off the cuff perfectly. A Selection of Sqarovski and Miyuki Seed beads. We used:

Step One

Cut a 16cm length of lace

Step Two

Trim off the straight edge of the lace.

Step Three

Cut a 15cm x 3 ½ cm piece of beading foundation.

Step Four

Sew the lace onto the beading foundation, the lace will overlap either side.

Step Five

Decorate the lace with the Swarovski and Miyuki to what ever design you want.

Step Six

Take the turkey feather, bend the top down to the bottom, using a 20cm length of the .4mm wire, wrap the ends together. Trim the excess wire.

Step Seven

Using the glue gun, glue the feather to the cuff at the center point.

Step Eight

Carefully glue the beaded lace strip to the cuff.
