Step One

Using scissors cut out the section of lace you want to use as the earring.

Step Two

Glue the section to a piece of backing fabric and allow to dry.

Step Three

Cut around the section and then glue a cabochon in place on the front.

Step Four

Using an awl pierce through the lace and backing fabric to make a hole at the top of your design, and then make five more along the bottom edge. (You could use a cork board or macrame board to push the awl into to help make the holes if required).

Step Five

Hook a jumpring into each hole, then add a charm to each of the Jumprings along the bottom edge.

Step Six

Attach a shepherds hook earring finding to the jumpring at the top, then repeat the whole project to make the matching earring.
