Aquaprase a gemstone that has captured attention of big high end jewellers however, I wonder what is regarded most rarest quality in it's qualities? This I feel is still to be established and only time will tell, for example, Tourmaline Blue is the rariest and even that has shades of blue these are the most desirable and valuable. Thank you to JM in partnership with Gemporia and Yarni for this gemstone and giving an opportunity to purchase at an unbelievable price point. These Aquaprase round shape cabochons are a beautiful pale clear blue in natural light. They are ready to mount. I have gifted these to a elderly friend I've recently became acquainted to an enthusiastic about gemstones as his father was in the jewellery business and a gemologist and , he invented the Spectrascope and Dichroscope. Thank you JM **.

This is the second pair that I have purchased, and again yes they are pretty and light green, but do not have any specific particularity tipical of aquaprase therefore cannot be distinguished as such. I intended to make studs earrings out of these pair but they have different patterns. However, I stress that these cabochons are pretty in their own way and I will think of something else to make eventually
