Borax flux is a versatile and cost effective flux and is suitable for use with all solders.
Simply wet the our borax dish by pouring water in and tipping away the excess and then rub your borax cone in a circular motion with some downward pressure.
The rough surface of the dish will grind off a little of the borax and it will mix with the water in the dampened dish to a good paste consistency ready to be painted onto the joint with a flux brush prior to soldering, ensuring that your solder flows where it should.
