How to wire wrap a drilled bead using pear drop shapes

You Will Need:

Step One

With approx 10cm of 0.6mm wire centre it through the bead.

Step Two

Using round nose pliers and holding the bead in the centre make a wrapped loop leaving a long end of wire.

Step Three

Repeat step 2 on the opposite end of the bead.

Step Four

Push the wire down over the bead and holding it in place with your thumb pull the wire around creating loops on the bead. Go with the natural curve in the wire to create nice smooth loops.

Step Five

Wrap the end of the wire around the wrapped loop made earlier and trim the excess wire.

Step Six

Repeat steps 4 and 5 with the length of wire left on the other side of your bead to complete your wire wrapped stone to use in your designs.
