This step by step tutorial uses the stunning gemstone Aquamarine, which is associated with the month March. Famous for it’s transparent, pale blue appearance, the name Aquamarine derives from "water" and "sea". Many years ago, it is believed that Aquamarine was treasure for mermaids! Its other qualities include preventing travel sickness, soothing/prolonging relationships and a lucky charm to protect against shipwreck. Step One

Take one of the lengths of chain and using a jump ring add the bar of the toggle clasp.

Step Two

Take a 50cm length of beading thread, thread on a crimp bead, the other end of the chain, pass the thread back through the crimp bead, pull to form a small loop and crimp. trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover.

Step Three

Starting from the smallest end, thread on half of the Aquamarine faceted rondelles.

Step Four

Thread on 1 x silver twisted tubes, 1 x smaller Aquamarine faceted pear, 1 x silver twisted tube, the large Aquamarine faceted pear, 1 x silver twisted tube, then the other smaller Aquamarine faceted pear and the last silver twisted tube.

Step Five

Thread on the other half of the Aquamarine faceted rondelles.

Step Six

Next thread on a crimp bead then end of the other length of chain, pass the thread back through the crimp bead, pull to form a small loop and crimp. Trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover.

Step Seven

Using a jump ring attach the round of the toggle clasp to the end of the chain.
