You will need Red Agate plain rounds, Red Magnesite rice beads and wheels, wooden beads, and a selection of wire, crimp beads, covers, seed beads and spacer beads. From the front you will have the illusion of the necklace being a head turning neck collar, however there is a chain clasp at the back to ensure it is secure and comfortable. Step One

Take the marker pen and the collar. Make a dot at the base center point.

Step Two

Mark 7 dots, 1 ½ cms apart, either side of the center dot.

Mark a dot evenly either side of the collar opening.

Using the Dremel and the second smallest bit, drill all the marked dots from inside to out. File the rough edges down with the filing bit.

Step Five

Using 2 jump rings add the chain to one side of the collar and the 's' clasp to the other. Then hook the clasp through the chain.

Step Six

Take the Gizmo tool and the second thinnest winding bar then make 15 tube beads. The beads are 14 winds or 1cm in length.

Step Seven

Take a 40cm length of beading thread, thread on a crimp bead and 1 x turquoise Miyuki bead, pass the thread back through the crimp bead and pull to form a loop through the bead then crimp. Trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover.

Step Eight

Now thread your beads in the following order; 1 x turquoise Miyuki 1x wooden bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 5 x red agate rounds 3 x turquoise Miyuki beads 3 x red magnesite wheels 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 1 x turquoise Miyuki bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 1 x turquoise Miyuki bead 5 x red agate rounds 1 x red magnesite rice bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 3 x red magnesite wheels 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 1 x blue magnesite rice bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 3 x red magnesite wheels 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 1 x red magnesite rice bead 5 red agate rounds 1 x turquoise Miyuki bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer beads 1 x turquoise Miyuki bead 1 x antique bronze 6mm spacer bead 3 x red magnesite wheels 3 x turquoise Miyuki beads 5 red agate rounds 1 x Gizmo bead

Step Nine

Now thread on a crimp bead, loop the thread over and pass back through the crimp bead. Pull to form a small loop and crimp. Trim the excess thread and add a crimp cover. Repeat steps 7,8 and 9 to create 15 strands.

Using the antique bronze jump rings, attach each strand to the collar.
