This role will be accountable for developing, delivering & establishing the marketing & ecommerce strategy. A pivotal part of this role is to identify and implement opportunities to drive sales whilst focusing on new customer acquisition and customer retention. The role holder will be vital in the transformation of the customer journey both off and online. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative, and commercially minded individual with experience of growing B2C sales and digital strategies whilst developing engaging new customer and customer retention campaigns. Responsible for leading a team of six, and reporting into the Managing Director, this role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced organisation.

Role Responsibilities: • Day to day management of the marketing team. Setting, delivering, and establishing the marketing and ecommerce strategy for the business. Managing the overall marketing plan whilst coordinating and leading the full calendar of activity across all our channels.
• Working with key business stakeholders to ensure we have a joined-up approach to customer capture, retention, and nurture. • Develop and deliver a 3-year strategy to grow the digital offering in line with overall business expectations. • Managing the marketing budget to ensure the company is seeing a positive return on investment against set KPIs. • Drive sales and conversion through strategic analysis and effective management of our ecommerce website.
• Producing weekly, monthly & quarterly marketing reports on the effectiveness of all campaigns and marketing contribution. • Drive the understanding of customer engagement data to identify and measure growth metrics, dashboards, and be responsible for communicating key actionable insights to the business. • Lead the process of customer journey mapping and analysis for all our customer touch points. Ensuring that we have a realistic understanding and are continuously improving our processes based on customer behaviours and expectations. • Operate as a senior leader within the business with a track record in improving customer recruitment, retention and spend. • Build and lead an exceptional in-house team of commercially focussed performance marketing specialists. Person Specification: • Proven experience developing marketing strategies, plans and coordinating teams to deliver successful marketing activity. • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders and build strong internal and external relationships. • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to quickly digest and understand complex information. • Experience of budget management and ability to analyse ROI. • Experience of operating as a senior leader with a track record in improving customer recruitment. • Experience in/exposure to successful business transformation. • Deep understanding of customer journey and customer feedback tools and methodologies. • Highly motivated, passionate, and willing to learn with a growth mindset. • Keen eye for detail and understanding of consumer behaviour and how it can be influenced. • Self-motivated with the skills to engage and inspire others. • Passionate about sales with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills. • Strong copywriting, time management and organisation skills. • Exceptional leadership skills to nurture and get the best out of the team. • Experience with social scheduling, CRMs, Google Analytics, and ability to use it to analyse website performance. • 4 years of proven Marketing/Ecommerce experience. • A relevant degree (Desirable) • Knowledge of jewellery is an advantage but not essential.

Product & Concept Developer

We have an exciting opportunity to join the JewelleryMaker team as a Product and Concept Developer working as part of our Buying & Merchandising Team based at our main office in Redditch.

You will be responsible for creating commercially driven jewellery making kits and developing new commercial opportunities in the jewellery making/craft market. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting, with strong creativity and commercial awareness and interested in product development. This is an extremely fast paced role working closely with the Guest Designer, Buying, Marketing and Sales teams to strict deadlines. As such excellent organisation and time management skills are essential.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSES • Develop jewellery making kit ranges for several target audiences within the jewellery making/craft market that will inspire and engage our customers whilst being commercially focussed. These will be sold on our live craft TV shopping channel and online. • Manage a team of freelance jewellery designers to understand their jewellery making specialisms and create jewellery making kits which play to these strengths. • Maintain research on current market trends in both specific jewellery making mediums and generic themes including keeping an eye on what competitors are offering. • Contribute ideas to a calendar of themes for our live TV show and ensure each theme is supported by the right Guest Designer and product range to maximise sales. • Drive inspiration within our business by continually developing new ideas and sharing these with the wider team in order to grow our business in the craft of jewellery making.
• Create product briefs and ensure that they are shared with Buying Team on project/kit components, making product suggestions where necessary. • Liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure show schedules are completed. • Brief the Marketing, Sales and Production team on key events and products, to ensure all departments are fully prepared for each show.

Senior Product & Concept Developer

We have an exciting opportunity to join the JewelleryMaker team as a Senior Product & Concept Developer.

You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Product Development in the day-to-day operational management of the guest designer and jewellery making kit team to ensure that shows are filled with content that achieves sales targets. This is an extremely fast paced role with daily last-minute changes that will require you to think on your feet. It is therefore essential that you have excellent organisation and time management skills. • Assist the Head of Product Development in the day-to-day management of the product development team, managing two show planners, three full-time designers and approximately twenty freelance designers. • Possess a strong understanding of sales, with the ability to identify the cause of strong and poor performance. • Delegate responsibilities to team members, overseeing the planning of guest designer activity, with the confidence that the content that the team have scheduled will achieve or exceed sales targets and meet the customers needs. • Plan the show rota, ensuring best use of designer talent that support the theme and project of the show to exceed sales targets. Process any changes and ensure that they are communicated across the business. • Ensure that all relevant administrative duties are completed and communicated, according to company procedure. • Report on individual performance of the team and highlight training requirements. Carry out performance reviews, with the support from management. • Regularly feed back on performance to motivate the team to continuously improve. • Work collaboratively with buying, merchandising, marketing, designers, producers and presenters to support on information required for a successful launch.
