Step One
Trim the peacock feathers with scissors so you have just the 'eye' on a long stem.
Step Two
Add a dab of glue into a ribbon cord end, place a feather face down into it so the folded part of the ribbon cord and will be at the back of the feather.
Step Three
Once dry, use flat nose pliers to gently fold the ribbon cord ends down over the feather to secure it in place. Trim away the excess stem.
Step Four
Take a fancy headpin, add on a peacock pearl, a small spacer bead, a rondelle spacer and another small spacer bead, then make a wrapped loop at the top, hooking in the end link of a 10 cm piece of chain before you wrap the loop.
Step Five
Open the jump ring on the top of the ribbon cord end and hook on the chain with the pearl dangle so that it sits behind the feather.
Step Six
Using flat nose pliers twist the loop at the base of a shepherds hook earring finding so it faces forward.
Step Seven
Open it and hook through the jumpring at the top of your feather, close it to complete.
Step Eight
Repeat the process to make the second earring.
